
I've been home for the last 2 weeks with the hubby, cooking, eating and sleeping. The result is not pretty since I put on some weight and my skin looks so dull and blemished.
I was talking to a girlfriend about this last night and she mentionned the Raw Food Diet, which is basically eating only uncooked/unprocessed food.
Here are some claimed benefits that I found on the net:
- Increased energy level.
- Clear, soft skin.
- Establish and maintain your ideal body weight.
- You do not feel deprived of eating.
- Eat as much as you want and not gain weight.
- Enjoy a deep, sound sleep at night.
- Have regular bowel movements and rarely suffer from constipation or indigestion.
- Look younger and healthier.
- Your health and fitness levels increase.
- Your eyes will be more clear and bright.
- Feel happy throughout the day - with no signs of depression.
- Your level of concentration and focus will improve greatly.
- Your instincts and intuitiveness will be sharper.
- Less degenerative disease.
- Less frequent or less intense colds and flus.
Is this diet healthy? Anybody tried it and seen great results on body, mind and skin? I am going back to work tomorrow and would like to start a healthy program to loose weight and add some glow to my skin. Let me know please.

Au fait, le probleme avec ce regime est qu'on s'en lasse tres vite, and that's not really good??!! J'ai lu dans un livre "The Secret" que pour faire un bon regime il faut justement se dire que l'on en fait pas un...il faut savourer ce que l'on mange et non se forcer a manger. Des legumes de la viande maigre, blanche grillee c'est deja pas mal... Je suis entrain d'essayer ca en ce moment et j'ai l'impression que la POSITIVE ATTITUDE ca marche ;-)
You are so right Diadia! J'ai essaye ce regime mais au bout de trois j'en avais marre!! Mais il faut dire que je suis super nulle cote regime! Makhallah je grignote rek!

Je suis tombe par hasard sur ton blog et je voulais te dire que la Raw Diet est excellente et a vraiment tous les benefices qui sont listes au dessus...
Si tu fesais assez de recherche tu decouvrirais que c'est impossible den avoir marre car il y a de nombreuses alternatives que tu peut decouvrir. si tu as besoins je t'enverrais des liens de sites. Surtout en Californie ou tu es, il y a pleins de ressources.
Essaie de regarder le documentaire Food Matters et essaie de faire d'autres recherche.
Cela fait 3 mois que je suis la Raw Diet et je ne me suis jamais senti aussi bien. Au debut mon corps et mon estomac ont pris un peu de temps pour s'habituer, mais c'est tout.
